Police fined 82 individuals and one establishment all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for not complying with measures in force aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
They had carried out a total of 6,154 checks, of which 2,628 in Nicosia where 12 individuals were reported.
In addition, 860 inspections took place were in Limassol with 34 citizens and one premise getting a fine.
In Larnaca, out of 1,077 inspections 13 citizens were fined, out of 682 inspections in Paphos 14 individuals were reported, while out of 558 checks in Famagusta four citizens were booked.
Meanwhile, no fines were handed out after 369 checks conducted in Morphou district and out of 32 checks carried out b marine police.
