Police booked 80 individuals and one establishment all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
They carried out a total of 5,578 inspections – 2,070 in Nicosia, 964 in Limassol, 757 in Larnaca, 883 in Paphos, 663 in Famagusta and 256 in Morphou district.
Thirty four individuals were fined in Nicosia, while 21 were booked in Limassol, 10 in Larnaca, 10 individuals and one establishment in Paphos, five in Famagusta and zero in Morphou district.
An additional 15 inspections were conducted by marine police with no fines handed out.
