Police booked 62 individuals and two establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
They carried out a total of 6,174 inspections – 1,712 in Nicosia, 1,733 in Limassol, 911 in Larnaca, 913 in Paphos, 762 in Famagusta and 130 in Morphou.
Four individuals and one establishment were fined in Nicosia, while 18 were booked in Limassol, 15 individuals and one establishment in Larnaca, 18 in Paphos, six in Famagusta and one in Morphou.
An additional 13 inspections were conducted by marine police who booked no one.
