Police booked 38 individuals and two establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, according to CNA.
A total of 3,375 inspections were carried out – 822 in Nicosia, 651 in Limassol, 490 in Larnaca, 813 in Paphos, 477 in Famagusta and 107 in Morphou.
Six people were booked in Nicosia, five citizens and two establishments in Limassol and 14 people in Larnaca.
Moreover, police reported nine individuals in Paphos, three in Famagusta and one in Morphou.
Port and marine police had carried 15 out of the 3,375 inspections during which no one was fined.
