Police in Cyprus fined 32 individuals all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violating measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
A total of 5,908 police inspections had been carried out, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 1,293 checks five individuals were reported, while in Limassol 1,827 checks led to 11 people fined.
In Larnaca, five individuals were booked after 628 checks, while in Pafos nine individuals got fines after 639 checks.
In Famagusta, 538 checks were carried out with only one individual reported and in Morphou area 484 inspections led to no fines whatsoever.
Moreover, the Traffic Department carried out 455 checks with one individual reported and the Marine and Port Police another 71 checks without any violations reported.
