Police fined 31 people and four establishment owners after 3,499 checks in the last 24 hours for violations of the COVID-19 measures.
A Police spokesperson told CNA that in Nicosia 1,493 checks were conducted and seven citizens were and one establishement owner were fined, while in Limassol from 205 checks, five individuals were reported.
In Larnaca, six people and two establishment owners were fined after 704 checks, in Paphos three persons were reported after 288 checks, while 10 individuals and one establishment owner were fined after 571 checks in the Famagusta. In the Morphou area, no people were reported after 51 checks.
There were no violations reported following checks by the Traffic and Port police.
