Police have reported 24 citizens during 3,256 checks in the last 24 hours for violations of COVID-19 measures.
A Police spokesperson told CNA that four establishment owners were also fined.
Most of the fines 12 in total, were given in Nicosia after 1,605 checks and two establishment owners were also fined. In Limassol, seven people were reported after 223 checks and in Larnaca two more after 632 checks.
In Paphos, Police handed out fines to two establishment owners after 177 checks while in Famagusta, from 328 checks three people were fined.
No people were reported after 147 checks in Morphou, 127 by the Traffic Police and 17 by the Port police.
