The day before yesterday, there were some developments regarding the murder of a woman, possibly from Ukraine, whose body was found in the buffer zone of Athienou.
The Police found in a field where the 32-year-old Egyptian friend of the Ukrainian woman is living, a suitcase and a bag with bloody clothes, suspected to belong to the victim.
According to Phileleftheros information, the clothes and anything else in the suitcase have been sent for scientific examinations.
The Police have also contacted the Ukrainian authorities regarding the woman who was living in Cyprus working as a waitress, in order to find her family and ask for information.
At the same time, the anthropological examination of the body found in mummified condition continues.
