Police arrested three persons on Wednesday to facilitate investigations into a case of kidnapping of a 25 year old man.
According to police, the report for the kidnapping was submitted in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
A friend of the 25 year old told police that he called her to say that two men forcibly put him in a car and transferred him to an undisclosed location in Famagusta district.
The 25 year old returned home on Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested three persons, aged 22, 24 and 28 after they received testimony linking them to the crime.
They are currently in custody.
Police are continuing investigations.
