Police in Paphos arrested a 23 year old man on Saturday night who attacked a police officer and for knife possession.
According to philenews, around 10:40 am, police stopped the man while he was walking on Paphias Aphrodites street and asked to search him.
The 23 year old allegedly refused the search, pushed a police officer and hit him in the face.
The officers then arrested him and seized a butterfly knife they found in a bag he had been carrying.
Police are continuing investigations.
