Police has closed off the roads on Alexandroupoleos and Erythrou Stravrou streets in Strovolos after Pedieos river overflowed on Tuesday night.

In an early morning announcement, police said that there were problems with the road network and many roads have closed across Cyprus.
In Nicosia, the Gourri-Farmakas, Lagoudera-Chandria, and Ayios Spyridonas, Deftera roads are also closed. Eleftheria street in Pera Chorio has closed as have Evripidou, Leontios Macheras and Theodoros Kolokotronis streets in Dali. The Kotsiatis-Ayia Varvara road and the road from Dali industrial area to Potamia are also closed.
Drivers are urged to stay up dated on changes in road conditions from the police app and its website cypruspolicenews.com and social media pages.
