Thursday will be partly cloudy in the morning with local showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Hail is also on the forecast in some areas, according to the Meteorology Service.
A yellow alert for severe thunderstorms has also been issued between the hours of 4am and 5pm.
Winds will be moderate, force 3 Beaufort, blowing easterly to south-easterly over smooth to slight seas.
Temperatures will rise to 26 C inland, 24 C to 26 C in coastal areas and 16 C in the mountains.
The fire hazard is high in all forest areas.
