Parents want coronavirus clarification on students’ return to school

Organised parents demand a clarification on the coronavirus SafePass of high school students when they return to class in September with the start of the new school year.

Specifically, they want to know what the protocol will be with those who are vaccinated and those who aren’t and what the procedures will be with possible new outbreaks.

This is what head of the confederation of parents of high school students Charalambos Dionysiou told Philenews  Monday.

The orgnised parents are calling for an urgent meeting with Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou.

“Undoubtedly, we are concerned with the start of the new school year. There are various categories of students –  those who are vaccinated , those who are not, those who have been diagnosed with the virus and those who could possibly be infected,” he said.

“Certain rules will apply with SafePass and we want these to be clarified,” he added.
