The Education Ministry has advised parents to make arrangements in view of a work stoppage planned by primary school teachers on Monday.
Teachers will abstain from work in the first lesson — 07:30 – 08:25. Parents should take note that there will no supervision during those hours.
Teachers yesterday voted by overwhelming majority to endorse a decision by the union’s leadership to stage a work stoppage to protest bad planning by the Education Ministry at the start of the new school year.
