A Swedish tourist was arrested at Paphos Airport yesterday evening after a hotelier complained to police that he had left without paying his €720 bill, philenews reports.
It said that the Swedish tourist had stayed at the Kato Paphos Hotel for a week. At the end of his holiday, he packed up his belongings and went to the airport.
But police were alerted by the hotel manager and the tourist was arrested. He paid his bill, but his troubles are still not over as police are waiting for instructions from the attorney general’s office on how to proceed.
