A 37 year old man is under arrest after he allegedly assaulted police officers who asked to check whether he had permission to be out of the house in Paphos yesterday afternoon.
Police said the man was stopped as he was walking on Agapinoros Avenue and reacted angrily when they asked to check his documents, insulting and then assaulting them.
He was arrested and also booked as he had not secured permission to leave the house.
