A security guard working at the Paphos Mall found and handed in a wallet with €1450, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
It said that Angelos Charalambous from Moutallos, was praised by the Association of Private Security Guards for an action it said made everyone proud. The association said it would be honouring their colleague at their first event.
Charalambous found the wallet during a routine check of the parking area. It was returned to its owner with the help of Paphos police.
