Paphos district court on Monday remanded a 28 year old woman in custody for two days as police investigate a case of theft, the Cyprus News Agency has reported.
It said the woman, who is from Nepal, was arrested after her employer lodged a complaint with Polis Chrysochous police station that a ring worth €20,000 was stolen from her home.
Suspicions turned to the house help and the ring was found in her luggage, the news agency added.
