Four men, all Georgian nationals, were arrested in Paphos last night, three of them in connection with a robbery at a Nicosia pawnshop and the fourth in connection with a spate of burglaries in Paphos, philenews reports.
It said police believe the four, who have been living permanent in Paphos, are members of a burglary ring that has been active in various parts of Cyprus.
Three of them have been taken to Nicosia where they will appear before the court to be remanded in custody in connection with a robbery at a pawnshop. The fourth will appear before Paphos district court as he is suspected of being involved in at least three robberies and burglaries in Paphos.
