Paphos Bishopric will buy digital X ray equipment for patients at the Covid-19 clinic at Paphos Hospital, CNA reports.
Dr Iosif Moutiris said that Bishop Yeorgios had informed him on Saturday that the bishopric will buy the equipment.
He said this was the second large donation from the bishopric which has also equipped the clinic with monitors, oximeters, ultrasound, blood gas analyser among other when it opened on April 4.
Ayios Neophytos Monastery has bought a ventilator for the clinic.
The bishop said the donations were made in cooperation with the archbishopric.
