An asylum seeker is under arrest in Paphos on suspicion of working illegally as a gravedigger, philenews reports.
It said that the man is from Bangladesh and has applied for political asylum.
Police on Tuesday found him working as a gravedigger at Paphos Municipal cemetery and established that he did not have permission to work in Cyprus.
Police inquiries also found that he has worked for other local authorities in Paphos digging graves.
He was arrested on suspicion of illegal employment.
