Paphos police booked 38 drivers for a range of traffic offences during a road safety campaign in town and on the secondary road network from 7 am to 6 pm on Wednesday.
The Cyprus Agency reports that 17 drivers were booked for speeding, seven for not wearing a seat belt, four because they did not have road tax, five for parking in a spot reserved for the disabled, one for using a mobile phone while driving, three because they did not have MOT and one for drunk driving.
