A 30 year old man is under arrest in Paphos as part of investigations into illegal possession of property, burglary and theft.
Police said that during a search of his home they had found objects stolen from a souvenir shop, with price tags on them.
The 30 year old did not give an explanation as how they came to be in his possession.
The souvenirs were stolen from a shop in Kato Paphos belonging to a 46 year old. During that burglary items such as caps, sunglasses and leather bracelets worth about €1000 were stolen.
The owner recognised some of the items as his.
The 30 year old denies any involvement.
Police investigations continue.
