Just 13 % of Cypriots over 60, who are entitled to get the booster shot of the vaccine against Covid-19, have so far proceeded with the vaccination. Data from the Vaccination Portal is not at all optimistic since only some hundreds of people arrange new appointments to get vaccinated.
At the same time, the percentage of vaccinated people who are admitted in the Intensive Care Units presents slow but firm increase in the last two weeks.
The scientists are concerned and are warning, reiterating the need to re-adjust the measures since the vaccination alone does not constitute the absolute shield of protection.
