A police officer serving at Kouklia, Paphos, has been tested positive to the coronavirus and was placed in self-isolation for 14 days along with 10 other colleagues.
This is what Paphos police spokesman Michalis Ioannou told Philenews on Wednesday, adding that the officer was asymptomatic. And that all health protocols have already been applied at Kouklia station.
Meanwhile, three more positive coronavirus cases were recorded in Paphos over the past 24 hours, two of whom have already been transferred to the Reference Hospital in Famagusta.
One case concerns a Greek Cypriot man and the other an elderly Briton, while a woman from Peyia village has put herself in self-isolation even though she has no symptoms.
