The Facebook group Limassol Old Times aims to record past daily life in Limassol and the wider district by calling on its members to “go through family albums and discover the treasure inside.”
The group was set up a few months ago and today numbers more than 5,000 members that are invited to contribute to its content by sending old photos depicting popular city spots, cultural events and notable people from Limassol.
The group administrators ask anyone posting material to accompany it with some basic information for reference, adding that the photographer and the source of the photo should also be credited.
