The Agriculture Ministry has prohibited the movement of private vehicles on mountainous forest roads, inside state forests, as of today and up until Monday August 17, as a fire prevention measure.
Those who violate the directive are liable to one year imprisonment or a fine of five thousand euro, or both penalties.
People can visit designated picnic sites.
