The Health Ministry reported on Wednesday no deaths from COVID, 2,226 new cases and 248 hospitalisations.
Total deaths remained 689, total cases are now 233,082 and the positivity rate stands at 2.33%.
A total of 95,650 tests were carried out today (rapid and PCR).
Of the 689 deaths 434 are male (63%) and 255 female (37%) and the median age is 76.1 years.
The Ministry said that 92 patients are in serious condition or in an ACU of whom 35 are intubated, five are in ICU and 52 in ACUs.
