A 31 year old man was arrested late on Thursday night in connection with the murder on April 10 of a 20 year old man from Syria.
Police said the man is suspected of acting as an accomplice after a crime.
Another eight people, all Syrian nationals aged between 19 and 24, are in police custody in connection with the murder and police are still looking for a 22 year old and a 25 year old.
Arrest warrants have been issued and the suspects’ photos released to the public.
According to police, during a row on the Chlorakas-Kato Paphos road a person was seriously injured, possibly with a knife, and abandoned.
Police were alerted to the incident but could not find the victim but the body was found the next day hidden in a river bed.
