Police booked 12 citizens and seven establishments in Cyprus over the past 24 hours for breaching measures aiming to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
They had carried out a total of 487 inspections.
In addition, one individual was booked for not having the Cyprus Flight Pass which is mandatory for all travellers to Cyprus.
In detail, two citizens were booked in Nicosia following 52 inspections and two premises and three citizens were booked in Limassol out of 120 inspections carried out.
Moreover, there were 127 checks in Larnaca with one premise and four citizens getting a fine, while no one was booked in Paphos where 14 checks were carried out.
A total of 114 checks were carried out in Famagusta district and two citizens were booked, while in Morphou a citizen and a premise were reported after 56 inspections.
