The Limassol Assizes Court today sentenced a 44-year-old man to nine years in prison for a nursery of cannabis plans and 11 kilos of drugs found in his house.
The Court took into consideration the fact that the man had no prior criminal record as well as his family and financial situation.
It is reminded that on 26 May 2021 and following a relevant tip, the vehicle of the 44-year-old was stopped. Members of the anti-drug squad YKAN searched the car and found a quantity of cannabis. Following a subsequent search of the man’s house, several plants of cannabis were found in a specially designed indoor greenhouse, as well as 11 kilos of drugs.
