The nine communities of Vassiliko municipality have requested a meeting with President Anastasiades and resignation of Agriculture Minister Kostas Kadis due to the ongoing fires in their area.
The communities’ Coordinating Committee noted that the indifferences of the state to their problems is forcing them to refer the Republic of Cyprus to the European Union.
The relevant announcement concluded by noting that the Committee will continue the efforts until a solution to their problems.
