Nicosia: Woman finds burglars on return home

A woman returned to her home in Nicosia on Saturday afternoon found the kitchen door open and three unknown men inside and started calling for help.

One of the men covered her mouth with his mouth and the three then fled, police said.

They were pursued by a neighbour in a car but they managed to get away.

Property worth more than 5000 euro was stolen.
