Robbers have made off with jewellery and cash from a Nicosia pawnshop after threatening the woman employee with a knife.
Police said at around 9.35 am on Saturday as the woman employee was unlocking to enter the shop, three men with hoods came in and forced her at knifepoint to open the safe.
They grabbed jewellery and cash as well as her mobile telephone, locked her in the kitchen and fled in a white car which had been waiting outside.
Police are investigating.
