Ayia Napa Municipality has announced that a location within the sculpture park is now a venue for civil weddings bringing the total of such venues within the resort to 13.
The new venue is at the location of the sculpture the Gate by Cypriot Vasilis Vasiliades and has been given the name Gold Frame, inspired by the art work.
Set in beautiful scenery it offers panoramic views of the sea.
“The specific location combines the beauty of nature with art and culture with simple but beautiful wedding decoration, without any intervention that would change the character of the area and the park,” the municipality said.
The municipality said it wanted to offer a range of choices to couples wishing to tie the knot in Ayia Napa, to attract more quality wedding tourism and achieve an increase in civil weddings. It also aims to promote the sights and important landmarks of the municipality such as the Sculpture Park.
