Coronavirus patients discharged from hospital with mild or no symptoms will be accommodated at the Eden Resort Rehabilitation, Wellness, Assisted Living in Tersephanou until they test negative, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
The centre can accommodate up to 100 people at a time and the agreement covers medical monitoring.
The arrangement, which follows an agreement between the centre and the government, aims to better manage both the patients and facilities and health professionals at public hospitals.
It is part of wider planning to prepare the hospitals to deal with the more serious medical cases, the ministry added.
It also protects families of the individuals to be accommodated from being infected.
The agreement is for three months, starting on April 6 and can be renewed.
