Within its authority to name those entities in the private and public sector, for public health reasons, where employees were found positive to Covid-19, the Health Ministry announced on Friday that positive cases were found at a telecommunications company outlet in Nicosia, the Customs Department at Larnaca airport and the Larnaca office of the Tax Department.
In particular, the businesses / authorities where positive Covid-19 cases were found are:
- A subsidiary of Cytacom Solutions and not as earlier stated by the government at a Cyta branch on 18 Arch. Makarios III Avenue, Latsia, Nicosia. The Latsia branch will continue to operate as normal.
- Warehouse of the Customs department at Larnaca airport
- Larnaca Tax Department
The announcement said that the above premises will be able to reopen after all instructions of the Medical and Public Health Services — the competent MoH authority for approving reopening — and all relevant protocols are adhered to.
