Triton, one of three baby Monk seals born in the Limassol and Paphos districts last year has been caught on CCTV enjoying the waves in a sea cave.

The footage was posted on the Facebook page of the Agriculture Ministry.

Last January, the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research had announced that  Cyprus’ seal population has been boosted to 19 following the birth of Iris, Navsika and Triton in the Limassol and Paphos districts in September, October and December 2019 respectively.
