New Barometer shows young people satisfied with their life

The “New-Barometer” was conducted during the period November-December 2020 among 1,000 young people aged 14-35 selected randomly who expressed their views on the consequences of the pandemic on young people, their expectations about the future and their views regarding politics and participation in the country’s political life in view of the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

According to the research most young people (64%) seem to be satisfied with their life.

Their main concerns are professional prospect (76%), finding a job (68%), the country’s future (65%), and the pandemic (53%).

Most young people are not interested in politics (65% stated a bit or not at all interested) while when asked whether they will vote in the forthcoming elections on 31% said Yes, 20% possibly yes, 12% possibly no, 11% definitely no, and 26% had not decided.
