A police officer was injured in an accident near the Ministry of Agriculture in Nicosia on Monday morning.
According to philenews, around 11:40 am the officer signalled a motorcycle rider to stop for a check.
Under conditions which are being investigated, the motorcycle hit the officer and dragged him on the street.
The officer sustained leg injuries legs and was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital via ambulance.
Police are investigating the accident.
