More than 9 thousand people have been examined over the past month at Public Health Centres, set up in March to alleviate pressures on public hospitals focusing on the Covid outbreak.
The Health Ministry announced that from March 19 to April 24, 9,070 patients in total have been examined at Public Health Centres, with 159 given home treatment referrals, while 47 needed further treatment in hospitals.
3,075 patients visited the Nicosia Public Health Centre, with 1,1558 in Limassol, 1,458 in Larnaca, 1,392 in Paphos and 1,133 in Famagusta.
