A total of 11,630 appointments have been arranged so far out of 17,814, that are available for vaccinations of persons over 64 years old.
The Ministry of Health says that the Vaccination Portal will remain open for the age group 64+ until Sunday (4/4) at 19:00 local time.
The appointments are for vaccinations with the three licensed vaccines of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech. The vaccinations take place in vaccination centers all over Cyprus.
The Ministry notes that the gradual relaxation of restrictive measures depends greatly on the percentage of protection of the population through vaccinations in the coming weeks and calls upon citizens to arrange their appointments as soon as possible, based on the priority groups announced.
