After yesterday’s heavy hailstorm, more rain is forecast this afternoon with the possibility of thunderstorms.
Wednesday will start off fine, but with localised increased cloud cover, the met office said.
Clouds that will form in the afternoon are expected to lead to local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, in the north and inland. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail, it added.
Temperatures will be 29 C inland and on the coasts and around 19 C in the mountains.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday there will be periods of mainly fine weather with clouds at intervals. Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, at noon and in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and inland.
Temperatures will remain at about average for the time of year.
