President Anastasiades today received a delegation of the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council which gave him an amount of money that constitutes the product of a fundraising for people in Larnaca and Limassol who have been affected by fires.
President of the Council Ilias Demetriou said the voluntary movement is always present in the difficult situation of the Cypriot society. President Anastasiades thanked them warmly noting that the volunteering movement has developed to the point of becoming a model in many European and other countries through the humanitarian aid it offers in times of need. The amount of 16,300 will be deposited for the needs of people affected by fires.
