MoL special scheme applications open for partial, complete suspension of business and the unemployed

The Labour Ministry announced on Sunday that the following applications for the period 13/4/2020 – 12/5/2020 have been posted on the website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy, and as of today those interested must submit a new application online (applications only in Greek at the moment): 

• Special Scheme for Complete Suspension of Business (ΕΕΑ.3)  and
  Special Scheme for Partial Suspension of Business (ΕΕΑ.4).

Employers that meet the criteria for the relevant schemes can submit a new application for the period 13/4/2020 – 12/5/2020.

• Statement of Details of New Employees (ΕΕΑ.7) concerning employees hired in the months of February and March 2020.

Employers who wish to register their employees hired in February or March 2020 must first electronically submit the above Statement and then the relevant application for the provision of a Special Allowance must also be filled (ΕΕΑ.1, ΕΕΑ.2, ΕΕΑ.3 or ΕΕΑ.4).

• Special Scheme for Unemployed Persons (ΕΕΑ.8) for persons who used up all their unemployment benefits as of February or March or April 2020.

Each person that meets the criteria of the above schemes can submit a new electronic application. 

The Labour Ministry emphasised that to receive any special allowance for the period 13/4/2020 – 12/5/2020, all those interested must submit a new application.
