The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for tonight, warning of strong to near gale northerly winds.
“Strong to near gale northerly winds with mean speed 6 to 7 Beaufort and gusts 7 to 8 Beaufort are expected to affect mainly the inland and the eastern, southern and northern coastal areas,” it said.
The yellow alert is in force from 9 pm tonight to 11 am on Friday.
Be aware of debris being blown around. Localised outdoor activity disruption is possible due to debris, the Met Office said.
