The Department of Meteorology on Monday issued a new yellow alert for rain and isolated thunderstorms between 6 pm on Monday and 6 am on Tuesday.
The weather phenomena are expected to affect mainly the west and north of the island.
The Department also announced that precipitation rates are expected to range between 35 and 50 millimetres per hour.
