Men suspected of using fake coupons to buy €140,000 worth of products

Police yesterday arrested two men and are looking for a third on suspicion of using fake documents to acquire products worth €140,000 between January-August 2018.

The three allegedly forged multiple phone contracts of a telephone company two were employed at in order to acquire company vouchers.

Subsequently, they used these vouchers to buy company products at lower prices and then sold them to the third suspect who sold them online.

The two men were arrested to facilitate investigations in a case of theft by an employee, acquiring goods with false representations, forgery, counterfeit, stolen, illegal possession of property, dealing with stolen goods and money laundering.
