The Turkish Cypriot media are querying whether a Pakistani wanted in the Turkish occupied north for the murder of a 53 year old in Trikomo on September 30 has fled across the Green Line to the government controlled areas.
Kibris newspaper said that as part of the search, photos of the wanted man have been released. It said that the suspect has been living in the Turkish occupied north since 2015. His friends are reported to have told ‘police’ that he had told them he planned to go to Limassol.
Kibris said the bicommunal committee on crime — which is used to share information between the two sides — has been informed.
