The Limassol Assizes Court sentenced today a 47-year-old foreigner to 10 years in prison for a total of 13 offences, 11 of which had to do with the rape of his estranged wife.
For a period of almost one year, the man was forcing his estranged wife to have sex with him, sometimes under threats and fear and sometimes by force. He was also abusing her in the presence of their underage daughter. He even exercised psychological violence on his children.
The case was reported to the Police on 21 June 2021, when the 19-year-old son called the Authorities and request help since, as he said, both he and his sister had been attacked by their father.
